As an M&A Integration Manager – Transformation, you will own the end-to-end integration lifecycle—from pre-acquisition planning through Day 1 readiness and full-cycle delivery. You’ll define, negotiate, and manage the Transaction Service Agreement, set up a strategic integration roadmap, and spearhead execution across functions. Experience from a top advisory firm (Big 4, strategy boutiques, or M&A specialist shops) is a strong plus. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Pre-Acquisition & Deal Planning
Develop integration strategy and define the value creation roadmap.
Lead the drafting and negotiation of the Transaction Service Agreement (TSA), ensuring scope, exit strategy, and service levels are aligned.
Conduct due diligence on business operations, systems, culture, and people-related risks.
Build integration models, scenarios, and playbooks that anticipate operational impacts.
Day 1 and Operational Readiness
Drive Day 1 planning across functions to ensure seamless continuity and minimal disruption.
Create readiness checklists, identify interdependencies, and proactively mitigate integration risks.
Manage logistics, communications, and onboarding between legacy and acquiring organizations.
Post-Close Integration & Transformation Execution
Lead Integration Management Office (IMO) activities, tracking progress across workstreams.
Manage the execution of integration plans across HR, Finance, IT, Operations, and other functional areas.
Track synergy realization and ROI metrics; update leadership on status and risks.
Implement change management strategies to align teams and cultures.
Governance & Communication
Serve as the central point of contact for integration communication and reporting.
Support executive steering committees with progress updates, issue tracking, and decision support.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and escalation handling.
Leadership & Capability Building
Mobilize cross-functional teams and manage through influence, ambiguity, and complexity.
Share integration best practices and support the development of future M&A integration capabilities.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff and functional leaders involved in the integration.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in M&A integration, corporate transformation, or transaction execution.
Demonstrated experience with TSAs, Day 1 execution, and full-cycle post-close integration.
Background in a top-tier advisory firm (Big Four, consulting boutiques, or M&A-focused groups) preferred.
Strong program and project management skills; PMP or Lean Six Sigma a plus.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Business acumen including synergy modeling, financial understanding, and ROI tracking.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and navigate ambiguity.
Preferred
Experience in cross-border or global M&A integrations.
Familiarity with carve-outs, divestitures, and IPO readiness.
Functional depth in HR, Finance, IT systems, or operational excellence.
Legal or compliance exposure related to TSAs or regulatory filing requirements.
