We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and financial planning within the organization. Leveraging your expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance, optimize resource allocation, and enhance operational efficiency.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support long-term strategic planning, annual operating plans, and investment decisions.
  • Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends against budget and forecast, and provide actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor key business metrics, track performance against targets, and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial performance metrics and benchmarks to assess operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders and functional teams to evaluate business cases, assess investment opportunities, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate strategic alternatives and assess potential impacts on financial performance.
  • Analyze cost structures, profitability drivers, and cost allocation methodologies to identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and resource reallocation.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining service levels and quality standards.
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities, including market dynamics, competitive pressures, and regulatory changes, and incorporate risk factors into financial forecasts and scenario planning.
  • Develop sensitivity analysis and stress testing scenarios to evaluate the potential impact of external factors on financial performance and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with finance teams, business units, and functional leaders to align financial goals with operational objectives, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and drive process improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing financial guidance, insights, and support to enable informed decision-making and drive business results.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles, preferably in a corporate finance or strategic planning environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and scenario analysis using Excel, financial planning software, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, synthesize insights, and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and corporate finance concepts.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial databases, and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations and business outcomes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
